Daredevil

Today we read Daredevil: The Daring Life of Betty Skelton by Meghan McCarthy.  Using evidence from the text share an example of how Betty Skelton was daring.

  4. i think that the author showed that she is daring by saying that she sent a letter to all of the plane companies and said that her father was going to buy a plane(which he wasn't) and asked for all of the information.

  11. I think that Betty Skelton was brave and daring because even though she didn't know how to swim she trained to go in space underwater and went water skiing. Also, she bought a plane when she was only twelve and flew it on her own even though it was illegal for somebody her age to fly a plane.
