Summer reading is sweet!

We have some exciting stuff going on this summer! The PTF is promoting summer reading with something sweet, ice cream! All you have to do is read (and keep track of the titles that you read)! Reading logs will be sent home or you can fill out the online form to right of this blog. In the fall, students who have read at least one book and turn in the title(s) will receive a certificate for a free ice cream at Dot's Ice Cream Shop.

Summer reading at the Patten Free Library. Join me and other Georgetown Central School teachers at the PFL this summer! We want to see you and chat about books, check out some good reads, and just visit. Parents must stay with students while at the library. We will be meeting on Thursday, June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7, and August 21 at 10:00 am. The Patten Free Library also has some awesome events happening. Check out their website for more information: http://www.patten.lib.me.us/ChildrensRoom/SR2014.pdf
